Familex ("the app", "we", "us") is a family expense and budget tracking app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Familex mobile app and this page.

We only collect information needed to run the app's core features:

| Diagnostics | Crash and error reports (e.g. device model, OS version, app version, stack traces) collected automatically via Sentry to help us fix bugs. These reports are not used to build an advertising profile. |
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or browsing history, and we do not use the data described above for advertising.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We share data only with service providers who help us run the app, under their own privacy and security commitments:
If you use Family Mode, the transactions, budgets, and profile details you share within a family are visible to the other members of that family, according to the permissions of that family.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted using row-level security so that, outside of Family Mode sharing described above, only you can read or write your own records.
We keep your account and financial data for as long as your account is active, so the app can function. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing mahbubhasanmht@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited data to comply with a legal obligation.
This page is Familex's designated data deletion request page. An in-app self-service deletion option (Settings → Delete Account) is planned for a future release; until it ships, email is the way to request deletion, and we process every request personally.
Familex is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email above.
We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
